Some trips are special because of the places we visit, while others become unforgettable because of the little moments we experience along the way. My trip to Kashmir was a beautiful combination of nature, peaceful surroundings, comfortable hotel stays, and delicious food.

Kashmir is often called Paradise on Earth, and after visiting it, I could understand why. The beautiful mountains, fresh air, green gardens, and breathtaking views made every moment feel special. Whether we were travelling through the valleys or relaxing at our hotel, there was always something beautiful to admire.

A Comfortable Stay in Kashmir

During my trip, I visited hotels in Kashmir, including Hotel Dolphin in Pahalgam. The hotel had a beautiful entrance, wooden decoration, and a lovely garden in front. The green roof and wooden porch gave it a warm and welcoming look.

One of my favourite things was enjoying a cup of hot tea in the hotel garden. Sitting outside, surrounded by greenery and mountain views, felt so peaceful. Sometimes, we don't need anything fancy to feel happy. A cup of tea, fresh air, and a beautiful view are enough to make an ordinary moment memorable.

I also enjoyed the simple hotel atmosphere and the opportunity to relax after travelling. For me, a good hotel experience is not only about the room or facilities. It is also about the surroundings, the comfort, and the little memories we create there.

Enjoying Hot Tea and Kashmiri Views ☕

One thing I truly enjoyed during the trip was having tea outdoors. Imagine sitting in a garden, holding a warm cup of tea while looking at green mountains and colourful flowers. It was the kind of moment that made me forget about everyday stress.

I also stopped at a small café to enjoy a hot chocolate drink. The cosy atmosphere, warm lights, and delicious drink made it another lovely memory. Travelling is not always about visiting famous tourist attractions. Sometimes, sitting in a small café or enjoying tea in a garden becomes one of the best parts of the journey.

These simple experiences made my Kashmir trip feel personal and special.

The Taste of Rajma Chawal in Kashmir 🍛

When we talk about food in Kashmir, many people think of traditional Kashmiri dishes. However, one meal that deserves special mention is Rajma Chawal.

Rajma Chawal is a comforting combination of red kidney beans cooked in a flavourful gravy and steamed rice. It is popular in many parts of North India, including Jammu and Kashmir. The taste becomes even more enjoyable when the food is served hot after a long day of travelling.

Along with Rajma Chawal, I enjoyed the kind of hearty meals that make you feel at home. Fresh naan, rice, vegetables, and warm food served at roadside dhabas can make a journey even more enjoyable.

I also came across the famous Old Khajuria Vaishno Dhaba, which had a lively atmosphere and plenty of people enjoying their meals. Exploring local food places is one of my favourite parts of travelling because every stop gives us a chance to experience a different side of a place.

For me, food is not just about taste. It is also about sitting together, sharing meals, talking about the day, and creating memories with family.

Why Kashmir Will Always Be Special to Me

My Kashmir trip reminded me that happiness can be found in the simplest things: beautiful mountain views, a peaceful garden, a cup of tea, and a delicious plate of Rajma Chawal.

The beauty of Kashmir is not limited to its famous tourist spots. It can also be found in its hotels, cafés, gardens, roadside food stops, and the peaceful moments between one destination and another.

I returned with beautiful photographs, lovely food memories, and a heart full of happiness. If you ever plan to visit Kashmir, take your time to enjoy not only the famous places but also the small experiences along the way.

Because sometimes, the best travel memories are not planned. They happen naturally, one cup of tea and one delicious meal at a time. ❤️

Kashmir is not just a destination; it is a feeling that stays with you long after the journey ends.
