On 11 July, my family and I went to Pacific Mall in Delhi. It was a bright Saturday, and everyone was in a good mood. I had heard a lot about this mall, but this was my first visit. From the outside, the building looked huge and modern. As soon as we entered, cool air welcomed us, and the sound of music, people, and excitement filled the place. I held my mother's hand and looked around with big eyes. Everything felt big, busy, and full of life.
The mall has many floors, and we stood near the railing to look down at the ground floor. It was beautiful. The ceiling had round white decorations hanging like soft clouds, and the lights made the whole place glow. Below us, people were walking in every direction — some with shopping bags, some with children, some just looking at the shops like us. The floor was so clean and shiny that it looked like a mirror. I felt like I was inside a small city made just for shopping and fun.
We did a lot of window shopping. My mother looked at clothes in one shop, my father stopped to see watches, and my brother ran ahead to look at the gadgets. I liked the cosmetic stores with bright pink lights and pretty bottles. We did not buy everything we saw, but looking was fun too. Every shop had something colourful. The mall was full of big brand names, small kiosks, and happy salespeople saying hello. The energy was high, and it made us all feel cheerful.
After walking for some time, we felt hungry. We found a food court with many choices — Indian, Chinese, pizza, burgers, and ice cream. My father ordered chole bhature, my mother took a south Indian thali, my brother wanted a burger, and I chose a cold coffee with a sandwich. We sat together at a clean table and shared our food. My brother made me taste his fries, and I let him sip my coffee. Eating together in a busy food court, surrounded by noise and laughter, felt like a small party.
The best part of the day was not the shopping or the food. It was being together. In a big place like Pacific Mall, it is easy to get lost, so we stayed close. My father held the bags, my mother made sure nobody was left behind, and we all kept smiling. We took pictures near the big digital screens and the pretty corners. I took the photo from the upper floor because I wanted to remember how grand the mall looked from above. The lights, the people, and the happy chaos all came together in one frame.
By evening, my feet were tired, but my heart was full. We bought a few small things — a hair clip for me, a shirt for my brother, and some snacks for home. As we walked out of the mall, the sky was turning dark and the outside lights of the mall looked even more beautiful. I sat in the car and looked back at the big building. Pacific Mall gave us more than a shopping trip. It gave us a day of walking, talking, laughing, and being a family. I will always remember 11 July as the day we explored a big, bright mall together and came home with happy memories.
